“BI-CARB OLD FASHIONED FUNGICIDE is a fungicide containing micro-encapsulated potassium bicarbonate. It is a contact fungicide, and works by disrupting the potassium ion balance in the fungus cell, causing it to collapse and die. OMRI listed, Bi-Carb Old Fashioned Fungicide controls powdery mildew on fruits, herbs and spices, in lawns, ornamentals, roses, and most vegetable crops. Studies have also shown potassium bicarbonate to be effective against Botrytis (gray mold), Erwinia (soft rot), and Fusarium (wilt). It may be used indoors, outdoors, or in greenhouses. Application: For residential use. Apply with a hand-held sprayer, making sure to contact diseased parts and cover foliage thoroughly. Use a non-acidifying spreader sticker like Green Cypress Organic Spreader or JMS Stylet oil. DO NOT USE A BUFFER. Rate: General Use: 4 teaspoons/2 gallons water. Add Bi-Carb Old fashioned Fungicide slowly; continue filling with water; add spreader-sticker or oil last. Use within 24 hours. L”
