These companies were supposed to have cleaned up these sites but a lot of them are still left in the air to dry up, which means that they are sent into our air and can cause all kinds of health problems for us unknowing people. We have bikers groups that have been trying to find places to just go to and ride their bikes without the problems with too many different drivers invading their space and their fun.

Some of these mines might have been marked off at the time they were abandoned but over time, we have gotten closer to these underground tunnels and the dangers of the ground falling in. Some of the markers may have either gotten so rotten that they fell apart and never got put back up as the owners are probably no longer alive. Some of them didn’t have any family members to keep watch over the sites so they were forgotten.
