  I have had to answer the question of how to get rid of centipedes many times over the years and really wanted to put this to rest now and forever.

For the most part they are rare in a home that is pest free, or a low infestation. They feed on other pest, so the surest way to get rid of them is to make sure that other pest problems are taken care of.
