How to Get Rid of Centipedes
How to Get Rid of Centipedes
I have had to answer the question of how to get rid of centipedes many times over the years and really wanted to put this to rest now and forever.
For the most part they are rare in a home that is pest free, or a low infestation. They feed on other pest, so the surest way to get rid of them is to make sure that other pest problems are taken care of. I always use Eco-Conscious Solutions to Pest Problems to keep the pest at bay in my home, camp and garden, and this usualy keeps the centipedes from even bothering me because there is no food source for them. Using these eco friendly products not only makes for a better world, but also safer than the hazardous chemicals that we all know should not be around our family, children and kids, just like the centipedes.
Another thing to check for is a high moisture area that does not always stay dry since centipedes need a lot of moisture to survive. So eliminate these two simple things and you have them under control.
Now this does not mean that the occasional centipede will not visit, so if it is the occasional centipede that decides to curl up and watch TV with you, you probably do not have a problem to deal with, just kill the one or trap it in a jar and let it go outside and you will be good to go.
Now you have learned how to get rid of centipedes. See, it is not that hard.
